Sometime this week we will announce the admin team! They will take MakeOpenSource to the next level in future semesters, I am incredibly excited to see where this club will go in the future :)
@everyone hackspace is locked, we’re huddled in room 10 around the corner!
@everyone Reminder to send us an email at [email protected]
if you are interested in joining an admin position in the club next semester! Having a full admin team will enable us to continue hosting meetings and providing all the resources we typically provide during the school year. The email doesn't need to be super formal, just include your name, and what you'd like to work with, and we'll fit you into the team! Please send the email by Saturday, 11:59 pm!
This Thursday, 7PM in NSC 210
, DivTech is inviting a panel of UB CS alumni to talk about their experience in industry! I highly
recommend attending, they all have incredibly valuable perspectives!
As the semester comes to an end, we are looking to promote people to our admin team! We are currently looking for the following positions:
- Technical Lead
- Events Coordinator
- Project Lead(s)
If you are interested in any of these positions, send us an email at [email protected], from your ub email
, be sure to include your name, and any relevant details! A resume/LinkedIn is always nice but not required. We mostly want to see that you're interested in taking a position of leadership! Why Should I Join the MakeOpenSource Admin Team?
We want to give people more ownership over projects and events, so people on the admin team will have more to put on their resume, and more experience building and deploying projects overall.
The more people who get involved, the more our reputation improves. Joining the team will allow you to be a part of our club's continued growth!
